    Slick Storage

I have some slicks that have a bit of life and I am hanging onto them for the season just in case.

Can I leave them in the trailer (HOT HOT HOT) or is that bad???

I've been told the best thing is cool, dark, and not on concrete, bagged if you can.

and not near any electric motors or ozone sources. Generally 1' or so above the ground will be fine.

They are fine in your trailer....what can harm tires is being left in the sun. I've read that direct UV rays can do harm....but depending on who you ask or what tires your talking about you'll probably get a different answer.
I wouldn't worry about leaving them in your trailer too much Manny. They shouldn't get anywhere close to the temp of a heat cycle.

The are chemicals, agents and retardants built into modern rubber compounds that will enable them to last for quite a few years in proper storage. For a new tire, 6 years will yield a 1.5% performance decrease with proper storage.
