Year 1 was piece of cake!
Hey Jay. I'd have a hard time seeing you fit on a 125 bro. Those things are stupid small...

sonofa..... that reminds me i never got to ride it. You were my shot at getting out on a 125.
Doh. So after talking to Carrie and seeing a bunch of you guys at Geno's reception... I'm on the fence. If I can make it work, I'll do 125gp on sundays only. Maybe Saturday practice too because its included. Bah. I feel like an addict. Its actually scary! Don't worry Mark, I still have the bike.
hey man...i do 1 race on Sunday. its all i have time and money for. some ask if its worth it to come up for one race but its good to hang out with friends..do a little racing and just have fun. when i can get the time and $$ i do more races (ie: the Classic)
It's good to hear that you may be sticking with it.
Raise some cash; cornerwork Saturday, rent out the RS, then use the funds to race Sunday.
sorry to hear this neal. i know its for the best though. good luck and im sure you will be back
HE HE HE.

Thank goodness.... You looked way to sexy in that crew shirt to just walk away.
add that to the hotdog buns in my shirt pocket and its a magazine cover shot for sure.
the bike has been sold already. I hated to, but it had to be done. Bitter sweet, but my wallet sure thanks me for it.
as much as it sucks to say Neal, you made the right choice. formula 40 here we come.
That sucks man...but on a good note you got to experience racing. Some of us have dreamed about it for 15+ years now and haven't even done a trackday, let alone take it a step above that. I've had a number of people tell me "you belong on the f'n track" and I reply with "buy me a race bike and pick up the tab through the season" but that never happens.
So maybe someday you'll be back. Maybe someday I'll be there for the first time...who knows.
Tough decision, but money stress added to racing stress is a lot to take on.
You got to ride a "real" racebike. :)
bummer Neal, but it sounds like it's for the best...
still down for a Gap Trip in 09?
wow that was fast. hope to see you at the track this weekend though
Yeah, I'll up for Gap 09 for sure. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't change a thing for sure. I'd consider another 125 again, but an SV is eligible for more classes... of course, all I need to do is race the 125GP class to feed the habit.. and as Mark pointed out at Geno's party, I never broke into the 19s with it. Bah! Too bad the 250GP bikes aren't eligble for more classes, the look like a hoot! I'd like to stress that this is a break, not an end. My weedwhacker still runs on old C12+A747 premix, so I'll have vivid flashbacks whenever doing yard work.
I'd like to thank Jamie for getting me to do a TTD and eventually to race, and Paul for the guidance on bike choice and allll the help getting rolling. I will not be a stranger at the track for sure.
Anybody with an opportunity to ride a GP bike, please do your self a favor and DO IT.
