I think anyone who doesn't like max just hasn't watched him. He doesn't always get the best bikes, but he is a master of smooth and consistent laps and he has some real flair when it comes to a dogfight.

If he was on the new R1 or the 1198 he would be cleaning up right now.

i wish i could agree with you. i think he used to be a great rider. the rossi showed up...then the excuses began. when he was on yamaha he said the honda was better..he got on the honda and sucked...rossi went to yamaha nad won.
then max started spouting off at the mouth and found himself with no where to put his sorry ass. i havent paid much attn to him recently but if he has cleaned up his attitude and actually works to develop a bike...then yes...he could be a great rider once again.

max is a whiner but tolerable...I'll compare sete with the hunter brothers from hockey.

I do miss the battles with rossi. He (max)gave credit to rossi when due. Sete just blamed someone else.
Luv to watch haga and am a big fan of nakano(especially on the ape)and hopefully Spies keeps it up.

I sure wish that the sound and video were better but I will take what I can get with such a great race series. I get the feeling the MotoGP will be a let down after these two WSB weekends.

At first I was really excited to see Spies at the front.
But now I'm fearing that he is gonna just stomp
the field. This in his first year! Good for him. He's
deserves a Moto GP ride when a Yamaha seat opens up
for sure.

Here's my prediction based on the last 4 races. Still a long way to go I know but the way I see it, this year is only gonna be a battle for second and third.

Mladin said Spies would win the championship with two rounds to go. He might be right! There is a long way to go and the Aprilia will probably get a lot better. Also, Yamaha is going to need more top speed at some of the vrey fast tracks.

Yeah I'd think that Colin could be expendable. He's had is chances for sure. He's there for the American market. But Spies could represent that just as well and if he can take it to another level beyond what Colin can, why would Yamaha execs think twice?

didnt get to see the race but watched the last lap for each race on my phone...its cool that hes doing this well this soon on a new bike. even in the first race of the season when he got punted he was running similar lap times to the guys in the lead when he was 16th. hope he keeps it up and isnt just a flash in the pan
