LRRS did lose a racer on the grid a few years back in the same fashion. THAT IS NOT FUNNY. I saw what I think is the same vid. on another forum. I thought this rider passed as well. I will not watch it again.![]()

You don't have to be a racer to realize, that is NOT FUNNY.
Yeah it sucks, But I have the feeling that Slamp did not know He was watching (possibly) A snuff film. Its heartbraking when People get hurt or worse at the track. But I think we should lighten up on Slamp its not like he caused the crash.
I am sure he did not mean to offend us.

I'll say it again I am sorry if I offended anyone. I have been to the races one time. Never seen anything like that in my life. Di not consider that the guy could have been killed in that, and did not know that this was a frequent danger you guys face.
I really am sorry, I do not consider it funny any longer - and that is the truth, I feel bad. Again if I offended you personally then I apologize - it was not my intention.

There really should be a device that allows us to go back in time and take back something we said. You know...a 'redo'. That would sure have saved me bucketloads of pain and embarrasment...!
These, however ARE funny!!!

A lot of this thread reminds me of the annoying "you don't understand until you have a child" mentality that new parents have.
Slammp.... honest mistake. People laugh at other people getting hurt all the time. Sure the video is horrible and hits home for a lot of people but I can see where the comment came from. That doesn't mean I find it funny, just sayin you didn't offend me or anything.
Well since this took a serious turn, lets watch some video where no one gets hurt! (well, one guy took a precautionary ride in the blinky bus)

Wave big. Both hands. As big, wide, and high as you can.
Horrible.Last I heard rider was in intensive care and 'should be okay'.

+1 on wave big and wide. But get skinny. The start through T1-1A-2 is the scariest part of the race. And I have been taken out on the start; got damn lucky that my bike got hit when I was on the ground and not me. My shoulder still reminds me every now and then and I still have the helmet with a tire mark on it.

this is honestly one of the biggest reasons why I don't race. I have never tried to launch a bike and would probably be incredibly bad at it. I know you can ask to start at the back but that would just be counter productive to wanting to be competitive.

Its not that hard and a lot of people on the track actually aren't that good at it. Practicing on a MX bike really helps.
