Little bitter sweet for me, I put the bike in the garage down 49 points from my chance for white plates, but I'll be in the teens next year so all the AM LW guys better bring their A game

Looking over the weekend results (from home) it looked like you had a great weekend Mark. You improved quite a bit over the last few events. Looking forward to next year with you or at least till you get white plates.

It was great racing with you Mark! I'm not sure how your times stack up against the experts but if your times are within 107% of the lap record in the corresponding Expert class you can petition for early advancement. You're hauling the mail out there so you might be able to pull that off.

If they want to bump me up then OK, but I think another year of winning (and all the contingency that comes along with it) won't be the worst thing in the world. I was pretty upset yesterday but I'm over it now, and I've rationalized it to be if I can come back and run a full 7 rounds (instead of 4) I'll be able to compete for a championship in at least a few classes, if not the overall amateur championship. I'm not light years away from the other guys in the AM grid like Justin Pallen in the middle weight class, and fighting for first place does seem more fun
