New track layout for this weekend

Posted on the NEAR list...

We will run the "tight ten" this weekend, a track configuration that
many of you have never seen. It is considered to be a bit safer and it
does add another turn. We will set it up on Friday morning. I hope that
many of you will enjoy a different challenge instead of the same ol'.

Please spread the word. Your gearing will stay the same in most cases.
We used to swap over on a regular basis, but sort of forgot about it
after Ted retired.

you come down 10 and turn hard right onto the oval., instead of straight to turn 11, then about 60 feet down you take a left then a right back onto the old path to turn 11....

should be fun ., will be slower coming out of 10 ., but will be cool

That is going to be a tight fuckin turn to stay on the oval part of the track. How does this make the track safer? Turn 2 and 3 are worse then turn 10.

Now to get back on track. Coming out of turn 10 your going to have to get on the brakes pretty good to make the tight right hander then down shift for the 50 foot straight and down shift again for the left hander right???
