LRRS - round #6...9/12-9/13

Head's up, we're going to bring slow races to rd. 6, Saturday night (9/12). Come by North #9 @7pm (start time open for discussion), bring your pitbike.

We'll have an approximately 100 ft. long course clearly marked.

If you've never participated in a slow race, it's simple. A -> B race, last one to cross the line without putting a foot down...wins.

We'll narrow down the bikes eligible to race after this round, for now - if it's your pitbike, it's eligible.



What do you guys want to do for a buy in? I'm thinking 50/50 - example...$10 buy in means $5 towards Karen Hornbecker fund and $5 to winner.

Basically, track stand as close as possible to the line without going over or putting your feet down, and then they ring the bell to start the race.

If I air the tires down from their typical 100psi, mine will practically stand on its own.

30psi ain't flat, but you can use the scooter as a stationary lounge chair at that pressure.

You really should reconsider not participating, it'll be a lot of fun and will kick some money into the Hornbecker fund. It's a win/win.

Definitely a good cause(although check with Jim Rich, last I knew the fund was over-funded and having trouble dispensing it all), and I'm sure it'll be fun, just not my thing(balance, that is).
