Just bookmarked the wvrclub site, but prolly can't do anything with it until next season. I have an XR100, but being pretty new to dirt anything, I've just ridden around the yard with it so far...the Family Day looks like a lot of fun. There are quite a few family days happening that haven't been updated in the calendar. Most days where you see Saturday racing, they'll do a fun day on Sunday.
For your XR100, get a set of Bridgestones Trail Wings. You'll want a TW39 front and TW40 rear.

Stock is fine, just a set of tires and you'll be in good shape. The fun day format is pretty lose. For the most part its just open track and you can ride as much as you want. Usually a couple of times a day a handful of big bikes get on track and we usually clear out our small bikes and let those guys have at it. About every 2 hours the drag the track and just before they have a TT course we run for about 20 minutes. It's a hell of a good time a stupid cheap.
Twist my arm. Tires are on their way. I'll give wvrc a shout and see when the next Sunday fun day will be...

I need a shagged front rain and a set of Butler Perforance Machining custom spacers, and I have a KTM 450 sitting in then garage I can bring out.
I'm sure those will do just fine. From what I've seen the dirt sections of Boxshop are a hell of a lot looser than the flat track.Quote:

Doesn't matter, it all works. Experts on knobbies and chumps on fancy tires. It all works, it's a fun play day.

Preferred are some 17" hoops with a set of dirt track tires. Barring that, you're going to want to get a set of Trail Wings. TW39 front, TW40 rear.Quote:
