Stole this from BJ over at the NEAR list
There are 27 races each weekend. 16 are Ex/Am, 9 are Novice, one is a combined Ex/Am/Nov race, and one is just for our Rookies.
Separating it further, there are 26 Ex/Am classes and 22 for the Nov's, who don't get to run in the three Unlimited classes, (SS, SB, GP) or F50.
The first weekend, in April, the closest Expert win -- and the closest of the entire weekend -- was between Mike Donovan and Matt Silva in ULSB, Mike being .14 seconds ahead at the line. (Though it should be noted that Alex Guilbeault and Nick Jakuboski were just .15 apart in their 125 GP race.) The closest Am win was Javier Vazquez beating Joel Bryan by .29 in HWSS. And Novice Paul Berger edged Larry Graffam by .36 in MWSS.
Last weekend, the closest Expert win -- and the closest of the entire year so far -- was yours truly just barely holding off Uncle Mark Dages in PTwins, by .03 seconds. In the Am division, it was Charles Brighenti ahead of John Dorans in Formula 40 Lights by .20, and for the Novs, the closest finish was Noel Guidone beating Eric Johanson by more than a second, 1.06 to be exact, in LWSS.
Too bad for Matt's injury ... he and Mike had been having close races most times out with those 'tards.
Two lonnnnnng weeks before we get to do it again.
