    23w turn signal bulb

I hope like hell someone can point me in the right direction. I need a 12v 23watt single filament, amber bulb for my turn signal. The signals are lockhart/phillips with clear lenses. I can't find those little bastard bulbs anywhere. If I were in the UK, great. But I'm not. They are not the pointy type bulb. Its the kind with the round lens.

Good fricken luck! I had a pair of K&S turn signals on a bike and had the same issue. Ended up having to find something that was close then modified one of the pins so it would fit.

Hudson Cycle Center is where I ended up.

I believe they're open til 8pm tonight so if they have something I can pick 'em up for you since I work in Nashua.

Found a site selling a 10 pack for $20 finally. Another site wanted $33 for a discontinued non returnable item. Called their # and got garbled english on a machine before I found the one I ordered from. 10 pack will do me fine. I've forgotten to remove the bulbs for my track days and every time kick myself cuz I end up completely disintegrating the damn things. Loudon...Frost heaves...don't make a difference I guess.

12volts, 23 WATTS as oppose to standard 1156s that are 26.9 watts

To find a 9watt marker bulb is no big deal. It seems the legality of a 23watt turn signal might be the issue.

    Re: 23w turn signal bulb

I found his site as well and thought the same damn thing. Got what I need from flyncycle.com. 19.99 for 10 plus the 4 buck shipping. Got them today so at least I'm legal now. Funny thing is that these signals, albeit smaller, are brighter than the factory ones that were on it. I still use the hand signals anyway. I think it helps break their attention from their stupid phone.
