Hey Guys,
Got my ninja 250 carb off, and these two little pieces of metal came off when I wasn't looking. I've been watching all the videos I can find, but this part doesn't show up anywhere. I believe it might called a "collar". Can anyone point out where these go?

did they come from the inside or outside? if inside, are they hollow? they might be the needle jets.
If they are they would go into the body of the carb, then the aspirator tube (the one with holes in the side), then the main jet. I'm not familiar with 250s though.

It looks like item #16017 in the fiche which is listed as the needle jet.
I picked 2005 as a year but here is a link to the actual fiche: 2005 Kawasaki NINJA 250R (EX250-F19) Carburetor Parts | PartsFish.com
And a quick picture from another site.

Correct, I believe my Kawasaki 900 has the same or very similar part right above the needle's jet.

Thanks guys. Just to be clear, it would go into my carb like this?

Yep. And you'll know its wrong if you can't thread the jet back in. IIRC, the threads don't sit totally flush, and I think you can see that based on the dark pattern on the threads. This part is longer than all of the threads, meaning if it didn't belong that jet shouldn't even begin to catch.
