Great day all around! Learned a bunch, Had a great lunch (burgers were great scottie) and met some new faces. Degsy thank's too you and your wife for opening your home for us and offering the class. The rum wasn't bad either!!! nice meeting everyone. thank's.

at least I got the right kind of rum.

no credit for going to the store to get the burgers so fuck all of you.

Thanks Degs and everyone else, I learned a lot and was awesome meeting everybody. Also nice seeing everyones disgusted faces rolling up/leaving on my ugly adv bike with all the pretty sportbikes parked next to me also thanks to scotty for telling me about how to fix my garbage shoulder!

I left about 9:00. bike is still there with the cams out. half the intake and all the exhaust were out of spec. found a couple scratches/flakes on the cam lobes so Degsy is looking into whether they need to be replaced or not. clearly I was jinxed by the talk of it being a Honda and probably not needing anything.

def awesome day, learned what I wanted to learn, Special thanks to degsy and Mrs. degsy for putting up with us. Chip and Scottie thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills. Daisha, I had fun working on your bike, hope you're happy with the results. I think I will be taking the advance course next time this deal comes around.

Very happy with the results. Made it home without losing anything from the bike, so looks like our work has held up so far!

the furthest the exhaust side was out was .003 I think and the couple on the intake were either .001 I think. hopefully we can polish the cams and get it all back together for Bomo next week.

I honestly didn't think I was going to understand valve adjustments when we started talking about it in the morning, but then actually going through the process and relating it back to the diagram explanation, it all made a lot more sense. Still probably not gonna go tearing into motors myself for a while, but it's nice to have a handle on what's going on.
