Complete noob -- how do I inspect my bike after 7 days?

if its a first time registration isn't the registration invalidated if you don't inspect it within the time frame? I wonder if you'll have to re register it if you don't at least inspect it pass or fail within the 7 days.

I believe the numbers for Maine are 20k inspection stickers sold to bikes each year, 60k motorcycle registrations each year... do the math. : )
