... wouldn't be a project.
w/ the woodcrafts, i now have to ride w/o the ram air tube covers and am gonna have to either get a longer tube for the brake fluid resevoir or mount the resevoir lower so it reaches the brake lever. Also have to re-route my throttle cables & re-lube em so they're not so friggin slow.... what a bummer.

It's not just the woodcrafts, vortex are the same way, or if you mount the 99 clipons below the triples, that's why they had to rise the bars on the 00 when they moved it below the triples.
I found this out when I asked about mounting my bars below the triples. Maybe I should have mentioned that. Oh but it's more fun to find things out on your own, right?![]()
oh yeah... tuns o fun....
maybe i'll just raise the shit outta the fork & mount em above... i'm sure turn-in & head shake would be quite a trip![]()

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
Had a worse issue with my 954 - either you slammed your knuckles into the nose fairing, or your thumb into the tank. No one mentioned this might be a problem before hand. Looked at all the options and just re-installed the OEM's.
Here is an option though :

Sweet, but you pay for it.

Workload for sale. Job sale possibility. Caretaker needed for housework and entertaining kids. I need some time back.
A steady job and a family has ruined many a good biker.
I've got the cycle cats on my 954 and they're awesome. Really well made and adjustable (unlike Heli-Bars). Only thing is, the kit they sell was designed for the 929 so there are a few extra parts needed for the 954 such as longer throttle cables and longer brake lines. I already had a pair of longer throttle cables from a set of Heli-bars that I didn't use and I ordered longer SS braided lines from Spiegler (I was gonna do braided lines anyway so I didn't care) and that did the trick. Ironically it did come with a longer clutch cable but that ended up being unnecessary as I was able to just re-route the stock one.Originally posted by smoothwaterman

Watch the sparrow falling
Gives new meaning to it all
If not today nor yet tomorrow
then some other day
I'll take seven lives for one
And then my only father's son
As sure as I did ever love him
I am not afraid
05 DRZ400SM bone stock (for the moment). Most fun I've ever had on two wheels baby!!!
i should be pickin up replacement OEM parts tomorrow... i found the part online for 50 bucks & the local stealership price matched it, so i'm good to go.... thinkin about keeping the clip-ons for track duty thoughwe'll see
