ok, some racetech .95kg springs are in the mail for my gsxr front end on the sv. i found them cheap on ebay, so im not sure if they come with all the neccessary hardware...but hopefully they do.
does anyone have experience with swapping these springs? they are 05 gsxr 750 forks. im guessing i would
-remove top fork cap
-compress the spring via spacer with brute strength or spring compressor
-remove top cap by loosening jambnuts
-remove spacer
-remove spring
-put new spring in
-put same old spacer in
-drain oil, set new oil height (7.5wt) with springs in, and upper tube all the way slid down. (or all the way up?)
-bleed by pumping forks
-install top cap
basically, will i need different length spring spacers? and do i need to remove the bottom bolt holding the cartridge assembly to change fluid?
thanks for any help.

Standard forks?
Everything you said sounds right. The springs don't come with any hardware, you reuse all the factory parts. No parts needed except the springs and fluid.

set your oil level with the fork compressed, spring out. (after you've bled any air out of the cartridge)
So, update.
I got the springs I bought on eBay. The dude said they were racetech 9.5's, even sent me a pic of the box. However, when I got them, they look identical to the stockers in every way. I even went as far as swapping the springs into the forks, and compressing them with my body weight...they compressed the same distance and felt the same rate. Guess you get screwed sometimes on the Internet, I accept that. The springs did come with a ton of washers the dame outer diameter of the springs, as if they were meant to stack in there to preload the spring. Weird. My guess is the box was from what the dude put in his bike and then put his old ones in the box. Fucker.
Could I be wrong here? I guess I'll just order some from a reputable company and try to get my money back on the others. Oh well.

It's been a while, but I remember my springs looked identical to stock. Only way to know for sure is to test them or have them tested. It's nearly impossible to tell the difference just by feel.
