dont even waste your time for bike plugs at places like autozone and pepboys. best bet would be to go to motorcycle shop or more likely a suzuki dealer. If you can find a place on line thats cheaper. more power to you.

I picked up a set of NGKs (CR9EK) for $8 each at Greater Boston Motorsports. Bikebandit wants $9. Not including shipping. When I opened the box to look at one of them, I had to laugh. Theyre so TINY! They look like a plug youd put in a lawn mower instead of a 900CC engine. No, wait....the mower plug is bigger!

I bought mine at Performance Cycles in Shrewsbury yesterday, damn expensive though at $10 a piece. Hopefully the iridiums are all that they're supposed to be for that price

    NGK plugs

I went to a napa first when I needed to get some. They didnt have them but they told me they could have them in a couple of days. I didnt end up getting them there because Im the kind of person that wants them now but if I remember correctly they were also the cheapest where the bike shop was the most expensive.

Denniskirk.com or other online stores, but they charge shipping, unless you buy $100 worth of stuff.

Big spark plugs just waste valve area.. that's why it's small, better performance.

    Check out this comparison:

That's an F1 plug on the left.

    iridium

Iridium plugs are more efficient. Its a durable hard precious metal with a much higher melting point then platinium, nickel, gold, and silver. Its a harder metal then the others. To sum it up, they are a higher quality plug.
    Advantages:
due to the properties of Iridium, the spark plugs centre electrode can be made with a much smaller diameter than with platinum, Gold or gold palladium and copper/nickel types without sacrificing service life. The spark plugs potential difference is more concentrated at the tiny Iridium tip and hence less 'spark jump' voltage is required - this can be as much as 5,000 volts less than with standard plug types. Ignition is improved and less strain is placed on the ignition system. Benefits of improved ignition/combustion include better fuel economy, increased power/acceleration and especially better throttle response.
