Seem to be OK...you usually get what you pay for. The tubing does seem beefy...fittings, wheels look a lil cheap. Most on here will recommend Pitbull, Woodcraft, etc...which are tried & true. I personally like PB or Vortex.
Very sturdy stands. I have no problems with mine. A little heavy but they are built to last.

Want to buy mine mondo? I was thinking about getting some pitbulls...

i've got one of their standard front stands....it works pretty well considering i think it was all of $35
but yea for the most part you get what you pay for....I'd recommend just dropping the money on a set of pitbull or woodcraft stands.

I have a rear stand from t-rex. Had to pin one of the "jaws" to keep it from moving. Didn't seem to matter how much I cranked on the knob, it would move, and when I got back in from a session it would be a pain in the ass to get it back on the stand.
After that 2 second fix, no problems.
have had 2 sets one on my 750 and now one on 675 i have had no problems with them, they do the job for sure
I have the t-rex stem lift front-stand. It was cheap, and it works. The pin for the Yamaha is not a snug fit, it's a bit loose. Not sure about the real brands.

Still doesn't make any sense to me. When you're working on a bike you want the most stable platform you can get.... If I were you I'd be using the Pitbulls.
As for storage, I don't even bother w/ stands unless it doesn't have a kickstand. Flat spots = old wives tale.

yea i've seen them, but not till after I had my pitbulls. i just did some thread searching a while back, and the general opinions were to not use t-rex stands for long periods of time.
but again, i'm probably wrong. when i get a track bike, i would probably buy a rear stand to try them out.
I bought a used pitbull here which seems sweet (thanks!) but my buddy at work just got the front/rear trex set off ebay for cheap...they look fine but I havent seen them at work yet. Also they come with sweet cheezy t rex stickers with a dinosaur on them![]()
