I'm re-doing the top end on a motor and want to decrease friction in a few key areas and was looking for a shop that could induce teflon into my cam, wrist pins, and rings.
Anyone have a line on this type of service? Post up if you do.

Not sure that makes sense TFE very weak and soft.
Very thin industrial hard chrome plating then mirror polish would be nice. Chrome directly on steel not copper-nickel-chrome like bumpers. Thick chrome can peel off and do bad things.

the most effective friction reduction treatment out there is molybdenum disulphide.
the reason is that moly is not a seperate entity like oils and teflons, it bonds itself to the metal at a molecular level, and is considered an 'extreme pressure' lubricant
some pistons come with moly skirts, and most engine assembly lubes are high in moly content

Teflon has its place, not on hot metal that has pressure wear.
If loud pipes save lives, imagine what learning to ride would do.
Hold the throttle open longer and brake later.
Did you look into Calico Coatings?

i would rather waste my money on slicks
I am sure it would help with 1 race especially to permit full power without break in
I just think it disappears in minutes
