Hey All
So after riding the bike for a couple months and reading about this on SVportal I think the bike needs a TPS adjustment. I am here to see if anyone on here has done this before and feels comfortable doing it? I am doing track days coming up on the 14th and 15th of august and I would like to get it done. I am not an idiot when it comes to working on my own bike but after reading up on it I would love to have someone who knows how nearby.
Anyone? Anyone?

TLRman!! He did my bike this morning. Granted it's no the SV1000, but it is a member of the same "clan" Get him to help you.
After checking the TPS he founds it was good. Synced the throttle because they were WAY OFF! It feels like I'm on a different bike! Amazing!
We did a ride to test and OMG! Just PM TLRman.
I got the power commander V with autotune(Thank you Greg and Lauren)and it's now working the was it was supposed to.!![]()
It's super easy to do it yourself. I did mine when I had a friend with a manometer sync my throttle bodies. I was surprised at how far off the TPS was, and how much smoother it felt (may have been a product of the synced TBs) afterwards.
This is the tutorial I followed on how to do it right.
Good luck!

If your TPS is anything like a superhawk (vtr1000) it will be fairly easy. check this thread:

Otherwise get yourself a repair manual, I did mine according to this thread, it took me about 45 minutes with removing the sensor and expanding the holes so it could rotate within spec.
haven't done an SV, but it was real easy on the TL
All you need is a meter
Umm, yeah, we need to talk about your TPS reports.
i should have him do mine again
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...
