Landrics Boston Moto, call rich

Corey, he said local. He's in Granby, CT. Not too local. Edit: They do do (I said dodo) good work though. If you want to make the ride, check them out.
Not sure of small shops. How is Enfield Motorsport's service department?
We could so some type of meet to pick up and return the bike or do full pick up and delivery for a small charge
Corey
would landrics do valves on a vmax?
Give Rich a call 774-200-6395. In don't see why we wouldn't do the valves on a v-max
Corey
It wont come close to 1300 I can't imagine but give him a call. If you haven't done then.in the past its a big project that can be very risky.
Corey
i hear ya. i've done valves before (but screw type, not bucket/shim) and i've gotten the vmax down to where all i'd have to do is remove the covers, but just checking all options.
wow cory... wheelin and dealin'... just kidding..
yeah guys, i can take care of your needs.. as far as the pick up in Granby CT.. not a problem. im sure we can work this out and get your bike all settled.. ballpark should be around $500 or so. but i'll keep you posted and i always make sure there aren't any surprises when you pick up the bike.
as for the V-Max.. i can take care of that one too and considering my labor rate is probably $30 less than a dealer im sure it wont cost $1300..
our work is guaranteed. we also offer indoor heated storage for your bike after the repairs are done too.. give me a call or PM me and we can work out the details. 774-200-6395

What were your symptoms of needing a valve adjustment?Originally Posted by Stromper
Frankly did not have symptoms at all
In winter just did PM and they were all out near zero. They pound their way into the valve seats etc. I was amused because I think the recommended interval was 26000.
Got the impression that the Japanese think we never see the powerband onto our way to the 65 MPH speed limit
