    12" Strider balance bike

Anyone have a small strider they don't need anymore? Trying to get my 3 month old nephew started in the right direction. Preferably near western mass.
    Thanks.

In about another year I’ll have one I can let go, which is about when your 3 month old nephew will be able to make use of it.

I know he's young, but thought he might be able to get on a 12" by 6 to 8 months old. No?

Nah man, they should probably at least walkingish for a strider. My kid is just about ready to take some steps and he's on a a minibike that has 4 wheels with the back 2 close together and that's more than enough. I agree with starting early and helping balance but that's probably not gonna be usable till he can walk ok.

    Totally serious.

My kids are 29 and 30 so it's been a while. Also didn't have striders back then. I feel like I see 3 and 4 year olds on dirtbikes, so would think a 1 and a half to 2 years would be a stasyc, so wasn't sure the youngest I could get him on a balance bike. I know they make several sizes. They also have these small wood ones.

I saw those too. So how young for the 4 wheel version...9 months?

Also, my math is off. He's 5.5 months old already. Jeez... goes quick.

I have him on a race program that he doesn't know about yet. Lol

My kids still love to ride around on it but I'll check in with them to see if they are willing to let it go but I'm in the Framingham area.

Wtf, we have a system here!
You already handed his 12” one down to my kid.
Once he outgrows that next summer, I’ll hand it down to Sdog’s kid.
    And so on

We got LM into a strider/rocker combo as early as he could balance himself standing up. It was close to 9 months.

He just has to be able to balance himself standing up. 9 months is reasonable.

Maybe I'll look at the rocker. I saw those.

I remember when Michael's son Nate was riding around the paddocks with his strider, then racing striders, now the kid is killing it in motoamerica on the Ohvale.

Dude, I don't think they were even "around" when you race one. Lol

You and Gino and Wild Bill were the only ones I knew that had one. Lol

So I just went on a search spree for toddler ridables and a whole bunch of them caught my eye. This one in particular is a three wheeler that transforms into a very entry level balance bike.

That's pretty cool. Looks super cheap though.

I think I'm going to go with the rocker. I notice you can buy the base separately, so anyone have a bike in good shape?

Yeah it's pretty fisher price-like, but it's a FIRST bike for kids that are like a year old to get their feet wet... before you put em on a Specialized Hotwalk Carbon
