WTB: 250 of some sort or another

Looking for a cheap 250 or other beginner bike for the girlfriend. Looking to purchase toward the end of this month or sooner as she is taking the MSF course in NH pretty soon.

Would like to spend as little as possible without sacrificing quality.

Anyone have a 250 they would like to part with?

I have a 2005 diamo 250, looks like a little sportster with an original 18 miles on it yes 18 miles!!! it was in a shed for 5 years just finished going thru it needs the rear fender buffed I already did the tank and front fender, typical chrome and aluminum pitting ,runs great real forgiving to ride. doesn't need a thing asking $1200 pm me

Friend of mine has an old beatup 1987 EX500, registered, should pass inspection. Brand new tires front/back, bunch of other new stuff. Ugly as hell. Mechanically solid, I've been through the whole thing myself. Cosmetically, not so much.

Needs some new gas and some love love love. Yes, 3 loves.

Probably grab it off him (with title) for $600. Let me know if you are interested.

It's cool, just spoke with Wayne on the phone, he needs to do a little research to see if a 6 foot tall guy will be comfortable on the EX.

Bike is still available, hasn't been dibbed or anything.
