Wow this is great! gave me goosebumps!
Wow, that's awesome of you Rich and MissTwisties. That will come back to you 10 fold, but more importantly, it will show D that there are people who care about her, even if they don't know her. She's about the same age I was when I parents divorced, not an easy thing to go through. Thanks for caring about her and making her a part of your family MissT.
This is awesome! Hat off to you two :)
I'll also be giving "D" a $50 gift cert to walmart for a helmet and gear..
IceKream..................how you doin?
Nice work Rich and V. Very very cool what you did!!!!
KB
Rich... you are a humble gentleman and a generous person. :woot:
That's way cool you guys. It's all about the karma.
Just gave "D" the bike. She went berserk over it. They had a blast with the tour of Landrics and hopped around in the 2 cars I have here owned by a Patriots player. MissT took a bunch of pics and I'm sure she'll post em soon enuf. The feeling I had when she saw the bike was indescribable!! Right now I'm outside in the parking lot guarding the bike while they're all inside picking up gear! Lol.
She even let me put the Landrics sticker on there!!!
Just got back, that was a long ride home, I've been so tired lately my eyes wanted to shut down. lol. "D" was so happy, she was glowing happiness. Until we got to Rich's shop, I had not known that she never had a bike....you read that right. Only bike she ever had, she told me later, was when she was about 4-5 years old. She did get on her new bike to ride it around tho. She is rusty and unstable but it will come back to her in no time I bet. :)
I'm in bed after a quick shower, posting from my iPhone. Pics will have to wait tomorrow, I just can't stay awake for much longer. Rich and Laura, thank you again, so much, for helping me making this girl happy. I can't wait to take her with us on her first ride. :)
WTG Rich!!!:beerbang:
Looking forward to seeing the pics! Thanks to all involved - not a common act these days
This is good stuff. Nice gesture for sure Rich.
Miss T. - If it's a mountain bike I have a new set of slicks that she can have if most of her riding will be on the street (makes it way easier to pedal around on than full knobbies).
:lurk: where are the pics MissT?? im going nuts with anticipation

Awesome beyond words! So happy for her. Gave me a great warm fuzzy feeling inside. I already said it, but good on ya Rich!!!!!
I went back to the store and got her more goodies for her bike. Ending up spending quite a bit after all was said and done (gas to get to Rich's shop an hour and half away), bought her dinner before going to get the bike, more accessories, etc.
Between Rich and I, she got the princess treatment. Feels very good, she's still smiling about it. She went on her first ride today with my daughters and another of her friend, my daughter told me she was ecstatic! :beerbang:
Just shared this with my fiancé and she agrees with me. MissT and Rich, awesome thing you guys did. I really feel for D, just makes me think back to when my parents split and how hard it was. I can only imagine how good it feels for her knowing she has great people in her life like you and your family MissT. I can't describe how happy it makes me to hear this. Can't find the words really. So great of you guys.
Oh and...she DID wear her helmet like we told her to!!! LOL
I'm so glad she enjoyed herself!!! I can't wait to hear about her first ride. It really felt great to be able to help her out. I'm going thru some shit when it comes to my *#=%>^bag ex when it comes to seeing my kids and feeding them lies to turn them against me. So when I saw this I had to do something. I didn't do this for recognition or parades in my name. I don't know the specifics to the situation but it sounded like she was getting neglected by those around her that shouldn't ever do that. I only wanted to show her that there ARE people around her that do truly do care for her. Even people like myself and my fiance' who don't know her from a hole in the wall. This wasn't about a bike to me. It was about making her smile. Though I found it hilarious that she was expecting a puppy as her surprise. I'm so glad to hear she enjoys her new gift and can't wait to hear her progress through her life. MissT... I really hope you keep me updated. Not only on her developing riding skills but just in life. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this. You are a saint for taking D into your life. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you.
Is Rich trying to touch her bum? LOL jk nice job dude..and that Bimmer is SICKKK!!!
