This will be my 8th season on two wheels and I think its finally the one I get the bike out on the track. Its a bit of a long shot but if anybody has a set of leathers they are looking to get rid of I'm looking to pick one up. I'm 5'8 about 180 lbs and a 34 waist. Doesn't need to be anything pretty, but obviously not looking for a suit with extensive crash damage.
Its an even longer shot but I'd like to pick up a cheap set of track bodywork for my '10 Daytona 675 so I don't need to risk banging up the purdy SE fairings.
Thanks!
I have a 2 pcs Astar suit thats in all black. It's been down but still functional. The jacket is Rashed but no structural damage. The pants is worse but still functional. Pucks still have 98% life left. $200 obo if youre interested. I'm about the same built as u
pm sent.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I have it narrowed down to Golden Chicken and a guy from the Triumph forum. I'll keep you posted.
I was kicking that idea around too. I've rebuilt a few wrecked bikes too so I was thinking about looking for one that has been dumped, tracking it, making it pretty again, then selling it as a street bike. I really don't want to bang up the Daytona, just need to convince my wife its a good idea to have 2 bikes.
You could store your new track bike somewhere else to solve that issue. You should contact BJ Wosham. He buys street bike and makes em trackable for cheap money like Ninja500s or SV650s. I got my sv from him and I can street or track it.
You guys have a solution for everything hah. I like where your head is at.
Thank you to everyone who reached out to help me find a suit. I have one ... now on to figuring out what will make a perfect first track whore.
I saw the GS. I've heard nothing but good about the SV though. I was also hoping for something fuel injected. I can get my mitts on an 06 sv650s for $3k or an 07 for $4k. Sounded like decent deals to me. Just need to sell the boss lady. I think a major selling point will be that it is something she can learn on as long as I don't wad it up.
