Gphelmets.com... Anyone?

Gonna go ahead and wrap this "review" up now... Although I don't actually have my helmet in hand, I do have 2 valid tracking numbers which show a delivery scheduled for today. So unless Victor sent me 2 empty boxes, I think it's safe to say I'll get my stuff today. The deal with the place is this: The owner (Victor) seems to have a checkered past and people have called him out for not shipping orders. There is even a Facebook page dedicated to warning people about gp helmets, and a report with the better business bureau. Of course I didn't see any of that until. 5 days went by without any update on my order... They don't even update their own accounts page where customers log in. I don't know if I would have ever seen my order if I hadn't placed several calls and emails demanding some proof of shipment. The site says they have a large inventory in stock but the reality with my order was that everything had to be drop shipped, and there was no notification at all. I can't say I'd recommend using the site for anything other than viewing Arai's helmets. Carry on..

My helmet, visor, and eject system did arrive, the biggest problem I had with the order is there was no communication or updates from them as far as when or if the stuff shipped. The helmet was brand new with a manufacture date of 12/13 and was sealed up nice in the box with all the manuals/stickers etc... . The price was the same as any other online retailer... $836 for a corsair with graphic. It looks incredible and I couldn't be happier but the process of getting it sucked. If I had to do it again I'd just go with someone I've used before.
