Everyone loves Pearl White: huge props to Landric's Customs!

It seems like a lot of people on here are getting Rich to spray their bike pearl white, so why not jump on the bandwagon?

I've been slowly collecting bodywork to turn my SV1000S from it's most current incarnation as a ratty, half-finished mess back into the sexy sport bike it's supposed to be. After I saw the FZ6 he did in pearl, I had to get mine done too!

A HUGE thanks to Rich for being super patient while I waffled over paint colors, and dealing with my cracked, rashed, and dented bodywork without complaint! He also worked with me a LOT on price (got the NESR discount before it was official! ) and was very very flexible on timing and logistics; even so far as to meet with me at his house on a Saturday morning! Turnaround time was wicked quick too.



The final color I decided on was a Audi 3-stage pearl white. One of my first cars was a 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro in pearl, and ever since then I've loved the color. The one on the left:



The bike is a slightly brighter white basecoat, from the B5 generation A and S4 Audis like this one:



Pictures really don't do this color justice, but it looks amazing in person!

I still have to put the bike back together, but I can't wait until it's all done! Here she sits for now:

Yeah! That's his Audi 90 on the right. This was actually taken after I sold the coupe to Cyrus. He did an awesome 20V turbo conversion on it, I always wanted it back after that!

Nice choice! Thats'll look really nice. I have been a huge fan of black for years now but recently changed over to diggin' the white. Which is why I opted for the Arctic White Silk EVO.

Well, the lowers aren't on yet, but this paint looks stellar in the sun. Again, pics can't do it justice, you just have to see it in motion to get the full effect!





...those cheesy "carbon" mirrors aren't permanent, for the record- just something I had laying around the garage. They're worse than useless anyway; all I see is elbows. And above 4000 RPM, blurry elbows.

Looks awesome too! You can't really see the pearl in those pictures because there isn't direct light. It also looks like it has a slight blue pearl whereas mine is a gold/cream pearl. Could just be the light though. That's what I love about pearlescents... it's a different color every day!

You got it. What I liked about it is that it is not a bright white. The Pearl tones it down nicely ,classy.

I got to see the bike in person this weekend, and I can attest that it looks freaking awesome! It's completely unrecognizable as the same streetfighter David used to ride. Gorgeous paint job, and the color works really well against the black frame and engine.

Grips maybe? I think something with the seats would look good with some red accents too. Maybe a red outline on the frame? And I absolutely agree that high-mounts are a must. Looks awesome David, bummed I didn't get to see it over the holiday weekend.

Seriously though, it does look great but does need some red in the middle there somewhere.
