Spartan Leathers custom order- 110%

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to give a quick review of Spartan Leathers for anyone considering custom leathers. I first learned of these guys on the SV Rider forum thread that is quite extensive- he periodically posts deals and I managed to get $50-off a custom suit to begin with.

I would like to start by saying that Dave, the owner, provides customer service that is second to none- I have never had such stand up dealings with ANYONE when purchasing a pre-made or custom anything.

You do your measurements on your own and send them in and he pays really good attention to them (I messed up a few numbers and he caught it) when laying out your suit. He has a variety of 1 and two piece suits and has special suits for the ladies as well. You also get to design the color layout.

The fit is excellent, the quality is awesome- really thick leather, heavy stitching, zippers are heavy duty and everything is placed well.

I'll be posting back here when I notice any deals, but I would encourage anyone and everyone to consider giving Dave at Spartan Leathers a chance if they're looking for affordable leathers- his custom jobs are surprisingly affordable!

Also! The leather comes in fitting a little tight but pretty well worked already, it definetly loosens up a bit with some riding- I have about 3k miles total in the whole suit from the summer, and an additional 1k on the jacket alone- I feel naked riding without it because it feels so safe!

Confused? why would you buy a custom suit without the armor?

I did buy the armor- that was just the price w/o it. Base price, if you will.

and some people don't want the armor because they use one of those armored shirts. if you do this I suggest talking with him first about the measurements.

Armor varies- I think 180-250 or so...its all on his site. Some people prefer to use their own back protectors and stuff....
