I have had this for years and it served me well but last fall the shaft seal sprung a leak and I don't have the time or tools to fix it. You can watch Youtube videos for the how-to and pick up o-rings and hydraulic fluid at Home Depot. It's located in Tewksbury. Give me a day's notice before you come by to get it.
I have had one for 40 years and it is still perfect
somebody resque this you woun't regret it
The calculus of hate
It is not that I should win it is that you should lose
It is not that I succeed it is that you fail
It is not that I should live it is that you should die
I was hoping for 40 years, but the o-ring must have gotten tired. This is the quick lift version too.
If you add a little brake fluid with the hydro fluid next time you top it off you may save it. The brake fluid helps to swell the seals and sometimes stops the leak. If id doesn't work, no loss. Back to replacing the seal.
That's a good tip. Thanks!
