The squids are hatching...
I guess this definitely is a sign of spring...
- Sunday -
Riding my bicycle (it was 50F) and I saw a dude on a CBR600 riding at least 60mph with sandals on, out in rural NH. Like 20 miles out from Nashua at least.
- Today -
We have a HD dealership about 1 mile from our office... we get constant Hogs going in front of our office shaking the windows, but they're always going the same speed as the cars... No one even notices them anymore.
Well just now someone on a sportbike with a loud pipe ripped on it and pulled a wheelie up the hill while lane-splitting between cars... Not as loud as the Harley's but just about the whole office woke up and turned to the window. :D And then a motorcycle discussion ensued.

Those weren't sandals, they were my flip-flops! They're much safer though, the thong between my toes is steel reinforced.
That wasn't me doing the wheelie though... I haven't figured out how to do one without falling off.

i'm just happy that people here have mostly figured out that yes, bikes *do* like to park in the "bike parking" section of the lot...

Hahahah...
That's funny. I have rode in to work about one or two days each week for the last week, and there is one other guy with a VFR who is doing the same thing.
The first time he rode in, that morning he sent out a big mail, "NO CAGES IN THE MOTORCYCLE PARKING SPOTS PLEASE." It was quite funny.

i thought about notes under windshield wipers that said "you are not a motorcycle."
then i figured my bike was too light and shiny to risk being kicked over by a raging cager.

If I was really mean spirited I'd deflate two tires on one side and then leave a little note on the windshield "enjoy riding your new motorcycle."
Of course, most of the cagers here are of the drooling oblivious type who would drive all the way home without realizing they had 2 flat tires.

isn't that all cagers? :)

If you live in New England you have to be a cager sometime... :P

I hate to admit it, but I put almost 5000 miles on cages in the past year, mostly however due to the electrical problem I had with my SV last november, but I fully expect to have 75k on my SV by the end of this year.
