Woohoo! My cast came of today. Finally!!! The x-ray looked good.
My doc put me under "no crash" orders. I can do whatever I want, except crash.
I should be crash ready by x-maz
Arm wasn't even all that gimpy.

Thanks guys. It feels so good to get rid of that thing even though my wrist hurst if I bend it too far. Time to start rehabbing it. I did some laps in the pool already. Got to get it flexible and strong by springtime...

Hey! You & Miss Lisa gonna make it a point to get your arses up for a weekend this winter? Every summer Lisa tells us it's gonna happen.... :smoker
A night or two at Penny and Johm's might be in order.
thats nothing. try 6-fucking-months. i jacked my wrist up real bad when i was like 17 from skateboarding. i thought i just kept re-spranging it. finally went to dr. dude says "this has been broken for at least 9-12 months. we'll put a cast on for 6 months and see if it heels. if not, then surgery. and stay off the skateboard". of course i went straight to the skatepark after i left his office. hah. broken shit sucks. glad to hear your free again!Quote:

I'm on about 14 months and I'm still not 100%http://www.abestweb.com/smilies/wheelchair.gif
Ew, Is that your leg or your arm?
Paul
That was my leg. With this recent weather it's been bothering me, the limp has come back a little.
Every good pimp limps a little:D :poke:Quote:

Did you ever bump into anything with it? That's got to be the weirdest feeling:dunno:
yeah man, I bumped it a bunch of times. Stumbled a couple times and put pressure on my foot which was a whole lot worse. Pretty much passed out from it one time. When I first woke up from the surgery I had no idea that's what I was going to have. I couldn't even look at it for 3 days. After having it on for over 5 months I got pretty used to it though. I could grab it by the bars and lift up my leg.
Get used to it. I broke both bones in my ankle about 12 yrs ago and i limp every morning, and on cold days sometimes it never goes away.Quote:

That's weird, because even though I have broken both ankles in the past I'm NEVER limp in the morning, but I am often on really cold days.
