LOL, Works for me...I like to do my knee dragging on closed courses, not around oncomming cars running wide and log trucks. He is an awesome rider though. I haven't ever met him, but we have a few mutual friends.
The GL18 is the worlds largest sportbike!

Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
Thanks. Tony has become my Track Dealer! He even caused me to go out and buy a 929. He is a bad man! LOL This year I plan to bring the CBR up. It should be a wee bit more suited for the track, but the wing will be there, because it is just too fun knee draggin a wing on the track. The scary part is that the Gold Wing is the bike I learned to drag my knee on.:) I can't wait for spring!
Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
Are ya gonna use the wing to tow the 929 up? :D

A guy on the 1800 board actually was gonna do that, but everyone talked him out of it. It ya ever had a get-off at the track and couldn't ride home, you'd be screwed.
Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
welcome. i'll probably see you at the track this year at some point
Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
I look foward to getting to know some of you. I have visited the board on and off, but finally got around to joining.
If any of you are ever near Troy, look me up. You might even come across KP from Vermont with me.
Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!

Though I don't outwardly blame Tony, I pretty much did the same exact thing....scooped a 929.
What an awsome ride! It feels like a bicycle compared to my FZ1.....a ridiculously capable bicycle that is...:naughty

Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
You still got the Running boards on that thing or did you grind them down to the frame...LoL. I remember you. You rode the shit out of that thing up there. :beerbang:

I actually only scraped twice in 2 days, and I knew both times before it happened (i was a touch late with my body position and there's NO leeway on that thing) Ask Chris, He watched me ride it off-road out onto the front straight instead of taking 11a and 12! Boy, that was fun!!
Re: Happy Ground Hog Day!
Welcome! I live outside of Schuylerville, about 1/2 north of you. Once the weather turns a little warmer we should meet up for a ride. Plenty of twisty roads around to keep it interesting.
