after getting my first "angled parking" ticket. i immediately wanted to do something about it. moderators, make this a sticky. this could happen!! it's almost on the front page and top issue.
how else would you park a motorcycle unless you angled it to the curb?

apparently i'm not the only one. i've talked to other people with bikes who park in boston. this is pretty common. they have gotten it before.

i agree. the only time i've ever gotten a blue ticket in boston was leaving my car parked too late into the morning on newbury st - it was in a temporary construction zone that started at 7am. the detail officer wrote a ticket and put it on my windshield, but didn't have the car towed right away as they hadn't started work in that spot yet. not only that, but after i came out and thanked him for not towing the car & shot the shit with him for a few minutes, he ended up not even filing the ticket. i didn't even ask! really nice guy.Quote:

I get crap for filling a parking spot at Tufts. I pay for a parking pass for the Tundra and have to pay an additional $5 for a sticker for the motorcycle. Some C had to the nerve to write on the back of a piece of paper a disertation as to why a motorcycle should not park in a car's parking spot.
:mad2:If I find out who it was this is what I'd say to this F C. I pay more to be in this spot than you do. Does it make any difference if I have my full size Tundra in that spot vs my motorcycle? Go and report me to the all mighty Campus Police. I'll go up there with you and stand there and listen to what they have to say. There is a bike that parks out on the street and has been knocked over twice buy Ignorant F's. I was able to get a plate number of one of them. I think he reported it as a hit and run with withnesses. A few months later he had all new plastics.
