Speaking of close calls.....
So, this past summer I was pushing my bike a bit more than I usually do down some back roads. Suddenly, three deer cross my path and I get the feeling that the end is near for Eric and his Ninja.
Would you describe this situation as giving you the "heebie jeebies" or would it be best described as "the willies" if it was you that day with the deer?
I refer to that incident as a "heebie jeebie" moment, some call it something else.
You?

More of an ass-pucker moment. Been there. I actually hit the deer though. Talk about a wierd feeling.

I'd call that an "oh shit moment"

I have them all the time, hate to say it, but "Oh Dear!!" Moments are so common up here i have to drive slow from dusk on, I even tried deer whistles, but they do more harm than good.

Last summer on the Snake in TN one of the guys we were riding with hit a bear cub and his bike went over a steep embankment (100 ft down) he got caught up in some bushes on the edge and didn't go over. The bear cub ran into the woods.
