I am cosidering buying a set of motard wheels that will fit my YZ but I am not going to bother if I can't get a decent set of tires. Are there any sticky tires that will fit this wheel size? I am having trouble trying to find some. The rear is 18"x4.5 with a 140/60-18. The front is a 17"x3.0 with a 120/70-17.

Front is no problem. No-one sells a 140 rear as far as I know and definitely not in a 18" rim size.Quote:

Avon may have something as well, I know guys on 16" rims rely on them for decently sticky rubber?

I think you'll end up going through more money and hassel looking for tires to fit them. I raced on takeoff tires from the dunlop garage all last year. They're 17's that come off SVs. If you take that route you'll save yourself about $400 per set of tires you run through, with no headaches.Quote:

Sort of. I'll buy a new set and when they are done for the SV they will go on the CRF.
