Sunday August 30th, Mt Washington
Its not a ride per se.. just offering up the chance to go up on one of the few days they open up the auto road early and catch a sunrise from 6288 feet.
Sunday August 30th, 2009
Sunrise Drive
08/30/2009 from 4:30 am — 6:00 pm
Website: http://www.mountwashingtonautoroad.com/page-215.html
A few of us are heading up from CT. No need to join us on the ride up if your not from here but I'd love to meet some of you at the base and catch the sunrise with anyone willing. Aside from NHIS races and track days I have never met up on a ride with anyone from NESR
We will probably ride surrounding area on Saturday, then head up to the summit early Sun morning, then ride a bit more and head home.
Feel free to make your own ride(s) before and after or if your from the area drop some hints of roads to visit.

Definitely joining you, unless classes start on the 30th.

Re: Sunday August 30th, Mt Washington
Classes on a Sunday? Odd!!!
I do believe we will need to leave our area by 2:30am to make it up there in time. I'll plan on riding up Rte 16 (no sense in taking the scenic route at that hour)... perhaps the scenic route to get home after sunrise.
CT Guys (or anyone for that matter) .... if you guys plan on coming up via the I-95 corridor, hit me up to meet up with Jeff and I in Portsmouth or something, otherwise see you up there!

That would be excellent as the girl lives in Portsmouth.
I didn't bother to check what say the 30th was - too much of a headache.
Going up 16 we will have to go at a so-so pace. I flog the SV as it is (75 mph=6krpm). I have no clue how it will be with two up.

Re: Sunday August 30th, Mt Washington
Given it'll be aorund 3am, and the deer and moose population on Rte 16.. I anticipate a very easy, laid back ride man.... I have no desire to see if a full crouch will clear the underbelly of a male moose in the middle of the road in the pitch black!! :-)

It will take us about 2.5hrs to get there.
We leave at 2:30 from Portsmouth.
