Whats up all, i'm form westport ma and ride a 2000 zx12-r. I know it's not everyone's style but i built the bike the way i wanted it. full muzzy exhaust, k&n filters, pc3, falican clutch basket and upgraded muzzy clutch, kleen air blocked of, pilot jet mod, 8"over thompson swinarm and lowered on muzzy linksand the list goes on and on

Welcome.....as for the style: you are using the swingarm for its intended purpose - dragging. Therefore, fine in my book :)

i was having a rough day wearing someone elses gear which was aliitle tight, but with a 1.73 60' (which is absolutley horrible) i went 9.95@138. i was basically dumping the clutch and bogging out of the hole. It should run high 9.60's the way it sits.Quote:

hey a big candy lime green flying booger... i had one of those once. same year, same color. by far my favorite streetbike i ever owned. i still kick myself for selling it 5 years ago.
i went the otherway with mods though...trying (unsuccesfuly) to make my 12R handle like an R1.
anyway welcome to the site, nice to see a vintage 12R (pre 186mph restriction though) out at the strip with the ZX14s and new Busas.
oh...i have a full muzzys clutch for a 00 12R in the basement somewhere...billet hub, plates, springs. if you blow yours up at the track let me know, i'll get rid of it cheap.
