Good Deal / Trusted Website?
Anybody use these guys before? Looks like some pretty decent deals if they are a reputable company. (Like the Arai Quantum 2 Spike helmet)

Re: Good Deal / Trusted Website?
Used em many times, no complaints.
Only thing with the closeout helmets are the build date...maybe they'll give it to you if you ask em.
Re: Good Deal / Trusted Website?
Cool.
Just was browsing and noticed them.
Still trying to get fitted for a helmet... have been talking with DuncanMoto about his closeout items...
Re: Good Deal / Trusted Website?

Re: Good Deal / Trusted Website?
i'm buying this one from them: http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/s...helmet+-+boost
sized myself at Brocton Cycle. the fit isn't perfect, but for the price i'll be just fine. definitely get sized though, b/c i was going to order a medium, but the large is tight a fit.

Perfect fit is important.
Did anyone elxplain to you the different shapes of Arai helmets?
Trying to fit yourself can be an incorrect experience.
My guess is you are not the correct shape for a Quantum II
If you are Asian, then maybe, but most European descent humans are not the Quantum II shape which is a round head shape.
Try the Vector for a medium oval or Profile for Long oval head shapes.

:plusone: for getting the right shape.
However, I went to a local dealer yesterday and tried on a profile and quantum.
The quantum seemed to fit / feel alot better (IMO) than the profile... still waiting to find a place with a vector...

yes someone there helped me, and i am definitely more of an oval/long oval (damn nose). the new RX-Q fit pretty well, those cap was still a little close though.
I know it's kinda lame, but I haven't seen any other helmets with green/black graphics that are half-way decent. If you know of anything, let me know :)
Re: Good Deal / Trusted Website?
warning here...
I've used them once, when buying my wifes helmet on that site... read the fine print on returns...
My wife has a really tiny head so it was hard finding something in an XXS so we had to start looking at Junior sizes... so we got a Junior M in a street helmet from there and got it, tried it on and it didn't fit too well... (still too loose) so we looked at the return policy and nearly shat bricks...
Item can not have a blemish on it anywhere, tags must still be attached..
you have to get an RA #, then send it back, but can only get a full refund if its in store credit.. money refunds are either 10% or $10 less... whichever is greater...
So while they may have great prices... be really sure of the size and fitment of what your getting....returning anything to that place is a huge hassle.
