'09 Triumph Street Triple R
Copied from Craigslist.
Tossing this out there to see if there is interest in it. Bike is a 2009 Triumph Street Triple R in Matte Grey with a hair under 4,100 miles on it. I purchased from the original owner and paid cash so I own the bike outright. I just realized I never got the title from DMV even though it has been over two months since I registered it. I will call and find out why I don't have it yet tomorrow.
Bike has some tasteful mods done and I must say it sounds absolutely amazing! The bike was ridden...not hard, but ridden. Never wheelied or stunted as I am not into that kind of riding.
Items on bike are:
-CRM (Chain Reaction Moto) Dual High mount exhaust w/ ceremic coated midpipes
-Triumph OEM Belly Pan
-CRG 3" bar end mirrors with adaptors
-Pazzo Levers (short clutch, long brake)
-Clear Alternative integrated tail light
-Carbon heel plates
-Triumph OEM rear hugger
-British Racing Customs Double mount frame sliders
-Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs front and rear
-Painted headlight buckets
-Stock bars flipped upside down (totally reversible and can be done upon buying if you wish). I preferred the riding position more as it is.
*Most stock parts also included
Nothing wrong with bike at all. I flushed coolant and put Engine Ice in when I purchased the bike back in April (bought on April 19th to be exact). As far as I know there is still time on the factory warrenty, proably around 11 or 12 months or so. Never down, no accidents. Oil has been changed 4 times already with Mobil 1 Racing 4T Synthetic oil. Awesome mileage at 48mpg on average.
Selling, because...well, I just want to try something else out.
Will consider cash, trades+ cash and straight up trades. Also interested in Pistols.

Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
Thats a sick bike. I remember when you bought it - those pipes are nasty. Good luck (my two cents keep it ) its as good a bike as any of the others you listed and if you flip those handlebars so the bend is up that would be a wheelie monster.
Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
Adjusted asking price more inline with what they are selling for. $7,500 OBO with a better deal for a forum member possible.
Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
Bring that puppy by my shop and trade it in for a Daytona 675.

Mmmmm....not looking to put any money up for it though. Only looking for straight up trades or cash on the buyers end depending on trade. :beerbang:

Thank you sir! :drink:
I am still on the fence about it. I could keep it or sell/trade it. It can go either way. Such a blast to ride!
Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
:whisper: long clutch, short brake levers, you have them backwards.

Previous owner had carpel tunnel in left hand and needed the long clutch. Otherwise they would both be short.

My g/f has been drooling for one of these for a couple years now.
im willing to trade her for the bike.
she cooks, cleans, has an income, and boobs were replaced a few years ago. 1980 model year.
Sounds too good to be true.
Pictures for proof :deathslap:
Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
I would trade mine, and she is only a 1989... Although cooking is out.
Re: '09 Triumph Street Triple R
Oh, the cooking is wonderful with mine, too. I could stand to go a bit hungry, though.
