ERC Dates this year?

Anyone aware of any more ERC dates this year (that don't fall on the next race weekend :mope: ) ?

Couldn't get down to Degsy's class because my engine was still out of the bike...

I don't really want to have to take the basic course just to waive the riding test and get my license officially before the year is up.

My only objection to taking the riding test is that my bike is now sporting race numbers, and I don't really want an LEO scrutinizing it because it is barely legal... ;)

Borrow a bike for the test.

I'm scheduled for ERCs the weekend of Oct 23-24 in Acton/Ayer (Ironstone Ventures). I haven't checked to see if anyone has signed up yet, some classes get cancelled that late in the season.

Well, it sort of slipped my mind that I have been riding on a permit the last year and a half... :naughty

Nice. If you really get into racing you wont need that street license anyway:) Just get yourself a dirt bike for those days youre itching to get out. Its more fun anyway. You can push you limits legally and Id say its safer. After all there arent any cars to hit. Just rocks, roots and trees.

Yeah....it has become like an inverse equation... the more time I spend on track, the less I find myself on street. I rode 15 miles up to Reading last weekend to replace the transmission on the bike, first time I've been on the street in a couple months embarassingly enough... I was hauling ass, picking my braking points, entrance and exits to the turns... and blipped the hell out of it to downshift so I didn't lock up my rear before a light but uh, wait. I wasn't on the track. Ooops. :mope:

BTW... I will be heading to GMD this Friday morning :)

I just looked at Ironstone's registration page, and neither date is listed, so I guess I can take it off my schedule. If you can get a few people to sign up with you, they might consider adding it back - no harm in calling them and asking.
