Bike Week Laconia June 11-16
Anyone going up to Laconia next month? I will be up at Gunstock till the hill climb drag races, great fun with food, booze and music on Wed 15th and watch the climbers fly over bumps. Definitly not just for Harley dudes they offer demo rides (I want to demo the Yamaha 850 this year, custom equipment carnival type of atmosphere with music all day and night.
Riding the back roads all week. The Lake Winni round trip is nice and close and u end up at the wiers after a 3 hour ride through Wolfborough and past lakes of the clouds. Ride to canada anyone?

We're just around the corner from there and there's usually shananigans going on at our place. I avoid all things Winni for the most part that week though. Then again, that area's at my disposal 24/7/365...

SToneman my college roommate from UNH Durham lives in Laconia and another friend has a place at the bottom of the lake in Alton. The roads around Win are not bad then. Do you want to ride north with me and my GF one day? She rides the ninja 650. I will provide the beer smokes and bullshit after?

I'll probably only take Thurs-Sun off this year though from work. I'm about 6 miles south of Alton Bay, just off ROUE 28...

My good friend has a gigantic house on the water in Paugus Bay. Its right near the Weirs, you actually go through Thurston's Marina to get to it.
I graduate this Friday, and an Unemployed until July, so I will literally be up there everyday that week drinking and hanging with friends/my puppy. Very little riding will get done because the roads are just littered with riders, and I'm not that big on group rides.
I'm not into the whole "biker" thing, but its definitely a fun week, and I'll be so close I won't have to drive anywhere. Plus, I love live concerts, don't really care who's playing, so nighttime is fun.

Ya i understand,i have a summer place in merideth and we only go up for a few days in the beginning of bike week, too much traffic and like you i can go all summer long. Besides how many t shirts can you look at.

the very skimpy ones filled by the lovelies! To make up for my wandering eyes had to get a sheer one for my girl so there were as many guys looken at her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Live bands all week any time of day or night is the ticket. The traffic is only in the wiers everywhere else has summer traffic anyway. So do you go by boat? Most locals shun bike week.

I would really like to ride down this year. Ive been once but I didnt own a bike at the time (I was really young). It would be cool to have a nice group to ride down with if anyone wants to meet up in the Burlington VT area..
