NESR dirty riders trail burn day?

I havn't had much free time to get any trail work done from the hurricane, so it took me 4 weeks to clean up the downed trees and sticks. Today I was able to put in a solid 6 hours of work and finally got all 5.8 miles of them passable again:shredder:
I didn't ride much prior to the storm and obviously up until today..after the storm. They need to be burned in all over again!
A bunch of you'z always say you'd come down riding, but I always seem to ride on a race weekend, or some other event. So give me some dates that work and I'll try to make it happen. I can have maybe 7-8 bikes that are reasonably quiet.
As of now, the only weekend I have plans is 10-15/16.
Any ideas on dates?

Busy next weekend and the oct weekend you are. There is also some wedding I have to attend, I think later in oct though. Other than that I can likely make it down there.

I can probably get there next Saturday, or the following one. After that I'm back into working weekend days. Even if you don't get a large contingent, I'll come down and lend a hand.

There's no need to lend a hand, just bring the bike and ride. The work is done

Yes, ATV will be fine, but only for half the trails. One section is full single track, and the other will fit an ATV. You'll need rock protection.

So does the weekend of the 1st and 2nd work? For those that have a long travel, you're welcomed to crash here as well and make a weekend of it

Pretty sure I can make something work on the 1st and 2nd. I'll double check when I get home and let you know.

Just in case, are there trails that a new rider on an XR80 could find her way along without too much trouble?

Worrrrd. I was hoping to get some riding in on the 2nd.

For what it's worth, I'll ride both days. So it's fine if some make it on Saturday and some for Sunday.

Joel, the trails are a bit rocky but one section should be OK for an 80 as long as there is some type of skid plate.

Ill have to see how things are going for me but Id like to come check out those trails again:)

What time are you guys gonna be riding until? I'm probably gonna end up taking my girl out on Friday night so I won't be up & functional til later in the morning.

So where did this wind up? Riding Sat and Sun at R7's? Is that still happening? If so, I have some parts to buy/install before the weekend.

Looks like at least Saturday? And again, I'm up for both days if people want to ride. I did a few laps today after tossing a new rear hoop on the KTM. The ground is somewhat dry, but the rocks are wet and slick..so in other words, 50% of the trails are slick:D

Some of the rocks can be used as jumps..it's just like riding MX without landings and there are always trees to slow you down:plusone:

My fingers are crossed my scoots back together by then. Parts are on order.
