1989 FZR600 - $1,100/BO
*THIS IS NOT MY BIKE. I AM LISTING THIS FOR A CO-WORKER*
1989 Yahama FZR600. Not sure on the exact mileage, but he believes it's in the 20k neighborhood. The bike is in decent condition, has been sitting unused for a couple years. Could use a good run-through but for what he's looking to get for it, I think it's a pretty good deal. Bike has a MA title
The bike does need a coil pack and the choke control lever that is located on the frame. He says it has some minor annoyance type things that anyone somewhat mechanically skilled can resolve rather quickly, such as the brake light sticking due to the spring/switch on the rear brake pedal.
Bike is located in Lakeville, MA. Please contact me if interested and I'll get you in touch with the owner. He is available to show the bike on weekends or possibly later in the evening Mon-Fri.

Very nice bike indeed. I have a disassembled parts bike if the buyer needs parts.

Re: 1989 FZR600 - $1,100/BO
I have one of these, and it's awesome. Insurance is stupid cheap and the motor is low and angled forward, so it's fun to ride
and for some reason the front 110/70zr17 tire can also be had cheap. I bought a brand new BT016 for $56 shipped on rockymountainatv.com...price is still there, but stock isn't expected until 5/15.

Yer PM box is full.
Do you have a direct link to the BT016 in 110/70ZR17? I cannot locate it on their site!
Thanks!

wicked pissa
http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/...e-Tire?ref=gmc
go FZR600!
and the one posted by John even has full fairings...most people sell them for $1,500-$2,000 after the lowers were trashed, were removed, and the bike is now called a "streetfighter"...$1,100 w' fairings is a good deal

Re: 1989 FZR600 - $1,100/BO
Sorry for the complete lack of responses guys. I haven't seen my co-worker who owns this bike around the office lately. I will respond to all pm's and inquiries about this Monday or Tuesday when I'm able to catch back up with him.
Again, sorry for being an asshat with this.

Fun bikes, limited tire selection. I'd be all over this if I had somewhere to put it. Someone pick it up and clean it over the winter!
