Already registered for it! :shredder:
Teach Mcneil's gonna be there too. Not that I'm into the "stunting" thing but it'd still be cool to see.

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
Slow race you say? I suppose I could swap in the stock Noodle Delivery Girl gearing onto the CRF70 and give that a shot... :D

THIS IS FUN. YOU ALL SHOULD DO IT>
I made it to the semi finals after beign slower than Ken. In the Semi the bike was cold and I shut off the choke and the bike died into the race. I should have let it warm up more or kept the choke on. you live you learn.

Ken
Do you make that drive to Exeter RI from Conway MA every day?

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
Possibility! Any Worcesterites want to make a day of it, do some riding afterward into CT?
I Just did a Google Map search and found some back routes there, I don't know the roads but look better than the slab.
Start point for Mass/Worcester Northern RI could be the McDonalds at the Junction of rt146 (Exit 1) & 146A.

I set up a route to Twisted Throttle from the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT and Springfield, MA with maps and GPX files. You can find them here: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/artic...eview/493/1/9/

Half,
I'd be interested if you form a ride. Not far from the "Woosta area".

I go to RI 3 or 4 days every other week or so and stay in RI while I'm there.

I'm in, though I may try and cross paths somewhere a bit south of 146A once you have a route figured out.

depending on any feedback from others that may know better roads. This is what I found for a somewhat direct non Slab route.
146A South
rt104 to 104/5
116 South
117 West
102 South
left onto Nooseneck Hill rd.

I can vouch for 116 on as good roads. There are some other creative ways to get here but that is a good one.

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
Picking up 117 from 116 sucks.
If you want Mike, get yourself and whoever else joins to the intersection of 116 and 12 and I'll take over from there if you want. If you take a right on 12, about 1/4 mile up on the right is a safe little pull off area to meet at. It's not as direct, but maybe a bit more fun.
Just a side note, my pace is much more relaxed than it used to be:angel:

While I'm just not doing group rides (of more than a couple bikes) these days, I might be up for this little jaunt. A "more more relaxed" pace is key for me.
Time to be at that pull-off on 12?
It's been years, Mark.

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
I'll be there in the afternoon. Gonna try and take a half day off work. I will be coming from Springfield area if anyone wants to ride down. I could try to fanagle the day off.

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
Sounds good Mark. I am also far more relaxed riding these days. I like my Ins and driving record the way it is!
Anytime is good for me Sat. Depends on the group when they want to get there.

Re: Twisted Throttle Open House & 10th Anniversary Party on Saturday, May 19th
Half count me in for the group ride down.

It's up to you guys on the time, at a relaxed pace it may take us 45 minutes or so to get there from rt 12. I registered for lunch, so i'd like to grab a bite to eat and watch some of the stunt show.
Ken, it has been years, be good to shoot the shit again and do some riding. I miss the old VBC lunch/after work rides:twothumb:
