WTB : decent bicycle for @$300

Hey Y'all,

My buddy is looking to purchase a mountain bike for @ $300. front only or dual suspension.

I know a bunch of people on here ride so I figured I would put it out there in case someone has something they are looking to get rid of to get something new, or something that you just don’t ride anymore that’s still in good shape

He basically needs it to get back and forth to school but wants to get something decent used rather than a new cheapo from Wally World

If anyone has one they are looking to get rid of one or knows of someone please let me know.

fyi, he is 5'10" not sure what size frame that is in inches, i'm the same size and use a Medium that he has riden more than once and is perfect size for him

You should probably mention his height or what size frame he might be looking for. I've got a 16 or 16.5" Rocky Mountain Fusion with probably 20 miles tops on it. Front / rear disk, hard tail, crappy fork, hand built brushed aluminum frame. I bought it with the intention of upgrading most of the components.

If it's the correct size and he's interested I can send pics, etc. I'd also be looking for $300

He's 5'10" i'm thinking 16.5 might be a bit small since I think that equates to a small frame??

I have a Canondale with front suspension I'll sell. It's my bike, Im 5'11. I don't see me riding it any time soon. It's in Hudson, I'll be up there Friday.
