Service for dirt suspension?
I have worked on, and re-valved many KYB and Showa socks and forks, but on my new-ish KTM I am considering sending the WP components out (for the first time, ever). I am looking for company recommendations here - Factory Connection, and C-Cycle seem to be the most popular. Specifically, I know that I will need stiffer springs, and the damping is much too stiff for typical New England trail junk. I am also considering lowering my bike with the installation of a top-out spacer in the shock, and similar spacers in the fork cartridges. My current components are untouched, and I want a good job, backed up by a re-work guarantee if I am not satisfied. I would also be considering hard-coating of the shock body, and perhaps even the fork internals to get what I am looking for (a super-plush trail suspension, with no Moto-X pretenses).
Recommendations?
Re: Service for dirt suspension?
I wouldn't hesitate going to c cycle again.
It's certainly worth a phone call. I was going to use gtr (also in ct) but Gilles was on vacation when I wanted my stuff done.
So, Bill had it back to me on time, and it's been tracking great.
If you end up at TFT, you're more than welcome to try it out.

Re: Service for dirt suspension?
A lot of enduro guys use C-Cycle and are happy. I'd give them a shot.

We can do it. We have plenty of WP experience. Peter has two different KTMs setup for the woods and I have one setup for supermoto. We can get you the feel youre looking for.

I'm bringing you my WR250R once I've spent a little more time riding it.
Re: Service for dirt suspension?
I ordered my WP shock thru FactoryConnection had them set it up, local dealer installed it, ran into problems, FactoryConnection sent a tech to my local dealer to resolve, great people, can't say enuf good about them
