King Arthur - Ben and Jerry's Ride - 9:00am Saturday July 19th!

Based on the ambivalent response to a poll to determine the appetite for Curtis Ribs I've put together a route that is something old and something new! We'll be heading to The King Arthur Flour Cafe in Norwich Vt and from there, on to Ben and Jerry's. in Waterbury!

This will be a longish day so please arrive no later than 8:45 at Seacoast Sport Cycle. Geared up (of course) and with at least 100 miles of fuel in the tank!

Gonna try and make this ride, will be my 1st with you guysand never been to Ben and jerrys or king Arthur's, come to think of it, don't think I've been to seacoast cycles before lol.

I find it amusing that the road to the rally site (Route 2, between Waterbury and Bolton) is under significant construction with large amounts of road reclaimed and turned to gravel. I suspect some of the riders going to the rally may be less amused than I.

I'd be tempted to try and meet up with you, but I'm in Maine this weekend, watching cars go through the woods really fast.

Dirt roads = fun! I was actually disappointed that we didn't explore the one Dave found on the HMR ride.

There is also solarfest near Rutland. Lots of Birkenstocks and granola munching!

If you click on the map on the SC website, it shows the location north of Derry and between rt 3 and 93. If you type in the address, it shows the location south of Derry on 28. Which is correct?

EDIT: actually it would seem the link on the website is for Londonderry, not Derry. Which is it?!?!?!
