Dreaming of it, yes. Planning, not in the budget. Definately on my bucket list.
Possibly. Best bud moved to London a few months ago and we've been thinking about it...
Hmmmm... Hadn't thought about until you mentioned it. Anybody gone to it recently? How complicated is it to travel there and get housing? Thanks.
I would love to get an impartial review of the experience. Probably tough to come by since it requires so much time, money and effort to orchestrate the trip.
The buddy I mentioned went in 2012 and raved about it.
I'm planning on leaving from either london or someplace in scotland depending on where i am working at the time. Transportation to there from either of these places is pretty cheap. I'm planning on camping out nearby when i get to isle of mann if i can. Other wise a room is pretty easy to find this early before the race.
I'm pretty sure this trip could be done from the states for about $2000 if anyone is curious and is a cheap bastard like me. Of course that can skyrocket too. It's not so bad for me since i already have a car and im already living out of hotels and i have the freedom to move to any different one if i wish.
So, it's looking more like I'll be there for 2015.
I can't (and probably wouldn't want to) stay for the whole week.
Looks like the Superbike stuff is Saturday, June 6?
Anyone who has been care to chime in with when they went, the good, the bad, etc?
Have not been but when we went to Scotland a couple years ago we were planning on going to the Manx GP. At that time there were some solid deals through Iceland air to get from here to Scotland. Then another flight from Scotland to the Island. For us this seemed like the easiest way on and off the island as we heard stories of it taking a day or two to get off via ferry.
Not too sure if you know them or not, or if you have a Facebook account, but you could get in touch with Justin Landry or Alisha Carpino on Facebook as they went there I want to say last year. Whatever year it was it was fairly recent that they were there.

Sweet, thanks. I know Justin. I'll ping him.
Just a bump to the thread. I'm moving up to Scotland next week so I'm gonna be even closer to the isle. I'm gonna pop over there sometime in April to get a lay of the land. I have a couple people interested in going but nothing solid.
