In my quest to shake off oppression of "the man", I want to cut cable and go all Roku
Not being super savvy in this its been a slow process.
The only thing stopping me is racing on tv, really all on BEIN sports.
Has anyone successfully done this? I saw this ad for motogp video pass which lets you ff rewind etc if you pay like 11$.
Any feedback would be helpful
I buy the vid pass for the year, $130ish IIRC. MotoGP any time, whatever I wanna watch.
I don't think MototGP is on Roku. Think you need the $100+ package to get all the motogp stuff and you need to use their app. You can stream it to the tv with chromecast and an android.
Got rid of BeIN... Have had the video pass for years. Now I cast to my two Sony Adnroid TV's and can Google Cast to the others with Chrome Cast devices. One of my Google Cast is the Ultra for 4K broadcasting. All my TV's are 4K. Beautiful
I bought it last year, I think? Dunno if it was something with my setup, but the stream quality was fine on a laptop but dogshit on the full-size 50"
Jitter, jitter, jitter. Download speeds (wired internet) were always real strong, HDMI straight in. Looked like shit. Emailed them 3-4 times, never got one single reply.
The convenience was great, but for that money and the middle finger I got from cust support I won't be buying again...
Been a subscriber for years. The app for the ipad and iphone works great.
Finally got the MotoGP video pass this year and I love it. Past seasons on there too.
I stream from my iPhone VideoPass app to Amazon Fire Stick using some other very inexpensive app that allows me to use Apple AirPlay... works very well. Not perfect, but well enough.
If you want to put in about 20 minutes worth of tech work, you can jailbreak an amazon fire stick or FIRE tv, there is a kodi channel/ add on thing that has the race on as soon as it finishes.
I have Kodi on my Sony's. Whats the add-on?

Motor replays is the name of the add on. Has WSBK, BSB and MotoGP.
