Allow me to reintroduce myself.
My name is Josh.
I came here once upon a time as a n00bi3 rider and trolled the forums for a few years while I got my feet wet. Since then, I've taken every MSF course imaginable, been to a handful of racetracks from Palmer to Circuit of the Americas, and had a pretty awesome time getting involved in the NYC motorcycle community. Last year I was hit from behind on the highway in Brooklyn and it kinda put a damper on my desire to ride streets.
Well, two weeks ago I went and scooped up a Honda Shadow VT1100 and got back in the saddle. This is my first cruiser and first time on a bike in about a year and I'm freakin' loving it so far. At first the forward controls kept messing with me a lot but I've warmed up to the bike and it just feels so comfy now. Anyways, I felt I should come here and share my joy with the rest of you because honestly, this is probably the greatest community of bikers I have ever found outside of my racetrack family (CERTIFIED KNEE DRAGGERS). This forum and the networking I experienced from it helped me a lot back in the day and I'm super appreciative that it is still around. <3

Awesome Josh! Glad you're back. You may notice a lot of us have stepped over to the dark side and are currently enjoying the cruisers/tourers/adventurers.
