Kubota diesel engine contact ?
I know there are better places on the internet to post this. I am just casting a wide net.
Does anyone have any advice or connections for a kubota engine mechanic in New Hampshire area, other than a Kubota dealer? A dealer is an option, just a really pricy option.
Southern Maine or Northern Mass is not out of the question.
I have a 1980's Kubota 3 cylinder diesel in a sailboat. I had an "oh crap" event last fall. It runs but compression is a bit low on #2 and #3, and quite low cylinder #1. Smokes like crazy out of one cylinder until it heats up (10 minutes) then the smoke quickly clears and it runs well. Before I pull the engine out, I would really like to speak to a mechanic who is familiar with rebuilding Kubota engines so I can explain what happened, the current symptoms, and make sure I am on the right track to a solution. And possibly hire someone to help with a rebuild this winter. (if the engine doesn't grenade itself before then)

Roger Crevier 603-419-0360 independent mobile diesel mechanic, highly recommended, I had him do the 50hr service on my TYM. He's out of Chichester, before I retired, I did some survey work for him

I was just gonna suggest reaching out to Randy about his guy.
Have you looked into any of the equipment places on Sheep Davis Road (Route 106) in Concord/Pembroke?
